Western Red cedar - Our Select tight knot Western Red cedar comes from Pacific Northwest forests and is highly valued for its rustic beauty, superior performance and natural resistance to rot, decay and insect damage. Slow growing and naturally durable, Western Red cedar is an excellent choice for fencing and is one of North America’s great renewable resources.

Fir - Straight grained and resilient, Doug fir is valued for its dimensional stability, strength and high specific gravity which provides excellent nail-holding capability. With high strength-to-weight ratio, fir products are used in construction where the wood is valued for its appearance, making it ideal for fencing.

Note: Dimensional lumber for this product measures 1” x 5 ½” for 5/4” x 6”, and 1 ½” x 5 ½” for 2” x 6” unless otherwise noted.
